To qualify for a Body Shop Technician position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Past collision center experience required. Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required. You must be able to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely. You must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Dressing professionally and being able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts is a must.The Body Shop Technician position is a physically demanding position. You will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will use hand and power tools. Will lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift. Will use hoist and test equipment.
